Have you ever concluded in your life to be a lucky/unlucky person? Did the passing black cat ever pass you on any luck? Does luck have anything to do with scientific positive vibrations?

Well , good luck is what everyone seeks. In Western culture a four clover leaf , Rangoli in Hindu culture are supposed to bestow luck. Almost all superstitions have been associated with luck.
Luck as it goes back...
Number 13,bats,scissors are considered bad omens as there were 13 people during the last supper, symbolize the devil, represent unrested souls.
Well, I recently have started living in a hostel where cats roam around quite frequently and so i was quite happy when i came across this - Mark Levin ,who conducted an experiment on the luck brought by black cat by making it pass in front of people and then frequently tossing coins. The cat did not seem to interfere with the chances of probability. Superstitions were generated due to peoples lack of understanding and overenthusiastic personalities of blaming or as we say connecting the dots.
Luck and people
This lucky man i met the other day seem to have it all-health,wealth,family and an aim. And that unlucky girl who lost her file right before the interview , cried about an hour on how she even had her results of her entrance examination on the brink due to some last minute changes on marking scheme. I was somehow pretty convinced that luck is a charismatic force which exists in this universe and helps certain people until I came across this name- Richard Wiseman,a psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire.
Richard Wiseman and his wise words
" Lucky people generate their own good fortune via four basic principles. They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations, and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good. "
He conduced a number of tests upon over 400 people. One of his exercise was letting some people who considered themselves lucky and unlucky read newspapers and counting the number of photographs. The people who considered themselves lucky noticed a line-"There are 43 photographs in this paper." which was printed on the second page in a large font. The supposedly unlucky people however did not see this line and went on counting. So, he inevitably concluded that those lucky people simply could see more opportunities around them .
Google on the Unluckiest of the world...
A lot of have made lists of unluckiest person on earth. Honey Grove is one such name that appears on the list. He considered himself lucky when he broke up with his girlfriend and she committed suicide.Even luckier when her angry brother came to shoot him but afterwards committed suicide thinking he murdered Honey. Honey did not die as the bullet he shoot got stuck up in the tree(the impulse questions now make sense!!). Later on when he wanted to cut that tree..he used explosive to blow up the tree, the bullet came out of the hole and went straight into his head(projectile motion:-) )
His good luck turned into a bad one people say. But wasn't it Karma doing its job?

That girl who had lost her file if only had used her hour in searching her file or making a new one instead of crying, would have meant that she used the opportunity around her and be a lucky person too.Luck is certainly a charismatic force but in my opinion, is a reactive one.Positive vibes creates an active force and since every action has an equal and opposite reaction, luck happens.
'Luck' lies in the eyes of the beholder.Good luck!
